Things which you can do to keep yourself protected from heatwaves are - 

  1. Keep your skin covered.
  2. Wear a cap and sunglasses whenever you are going outside.
  3. Drink plenty of water. 
  4. Avoid caffeine and alcohol on the summer day.
  5. Avoid eating meat and dipping fried foods.
